As the Circular Economy Bill reaches its final debate in the Scottish Parliament, this is a chance to find out about the benefits of reuse organisations and how the new law can be improved to support these services, vital to a more circular future, to grow.
Join us at Transition Stirling to find out about their great work. You’ll be able to:
- Find out about Green Skills courses, which offer locals not in employment an opportunity to learn how to repair electricals, upcycle furniture, reuse wood and carry out sewing alterations
- ‘Meet the Makers’ – an opportunity to chat to some of their self-employed makers
- Chat to the Transition Stirling team about their vision for Stirling City Centre and check out the architect’s drawings for the flagship planet-friendly shopping and leisure facility.
- Have a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of the Reuse Hub.
- Chat to FEL Scotland about the Forth Valley Climate Action Hub project
It will also be an opportunity to share what you want the new circular economy law to achieve, and ask local MSPs how they are going to make sure it’s effective.
