Our Future, Our Say: Climate Change Plan Consultation Fund launched
FEL is inviting Expressions of interest in its Our Future, Our Say Climate Change Plan Consultation Fund
Scottish Government is inviting public consultation on its Draft Climate Change Plan: 2026–2040
The Climate Change plan has principles of a Just Transition at its core, and FEL is distributing a fund designed to enable communities who may be at greater risk from the impacts of climate change to make their voices heard as part of the consultation.
The fund will cover costs of hosting an event that brings people together to discuss and respond to the draft Climate Change plan. Participants will be given a supermarket voucher worth £35 as a ‘thank you’ for their time.
We are inviting eligible communities representing the voices of LGBTQIA+ individuals, women and minority genders, ethnic minorities, people with disabilities to send an expression of interest (EOI).
Grangemouth residents are also encouraged to apply as a priority group, and make their voice heard on the draft plan.
Groups successful in gaining funding for their event will be supported with a resource pack and tips on delivering their event
The fund opens to EOIs on 1 December 2025 and all consultations submissions need to be submitted by 23 January 2026.
We have estimated a maximum allocation of 15 vouchers per group consultation; please indicate in your EOI if you anticipate requiring more so this can be considered.
