Celebrating Black History Month Across Forth Valley

Celebrate. Learn. Share. #BHM25

Black History Month Forth Valley is a collaborative partnership dedicated to celebrating Black history, culture, and achievement across our region.

This week, we’re thrilled to highlight two inspiring events that embody our shared commitment to learning, inclusion, and community action.

Cultural Sharing Event – Saturday 25th October, 11am–4pm
Join us at Bailliefields Community Centre, Falkirk, for a vibrant day of cultural exchange hosted by Forth Valley RISE. We’ll be sharing seed bombs and climate storytelling activities for young people, alongside an exhibition from Dynamic Earth that celebrates the contributions of Black Environmental Scientists who have shaped our world.
A complimentary lunch will be served at 12.30pm — we can’t wait to welcome you! Register here

Inclusive Climate Action: Lunchtime Learning – Wednesday 22nd October, 12–1pm
Don’t miss this insightful online session exploring inclusive approaches to climate action and sustainability through example organisations and projects happening locally.
