We’re excited to share our program of speakers and workshops for our first  Climate Action Hub Launch for Forth Valley, Loch Lomond, and The Trossachs.

4:00 – 4:15 – Arrival, Welcome, Tea, Coffee 

4:15 – 4:30 – FEL Scotland 

Introduction to the Forth Valley Climate Action Hub project 

  • Presenter: Em Harvey, followed by Eilidh McEwan 

4:30 – 4:45 – Voices of Ethnic Minorities Environmental Network (CEMVO) 

Ethnic Minority Environmental Network (EMEN): Engaging ethnic minority voices in climate issues and policies 

  • Presenter: Satya Dunning 

4:45 – 5:00 – Keep Larbert and Stenhousemuir Beautiful (KLSB) 

KLSB Community Group: Green spaces, community food pantry and kitchen 

  • Presenter: Sheona McMorran 

5:00 – 5:15 – Sustainable Thinking Scotland 

Addressing social and environmental issues in Falkirk District 

  • Presenter: Sean Kerr 

5:15 – 5:30 – Forth Valley Sensory Centre (FVSC) Volunteers, Community Garden 

Forth Valley Sensory Centre is a place where people with a visual or hearing loss, their friends, families, carers and the wider community can access quality services and advice from our partner organisations. 

  • Presenter: Rowan Ferguson and FVSC volunteers 

5:30 – 6:15 – Refreshments: Soup, Sandwiches 

Provided by the Forth Valley Sensory Centre Cafe (Vegan and Gluten-Free options available) 

6:15 – 6:50 – Workshop Options 

Our event is free to join and will have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free food and refreshments provided 

This event will be BSL interpreted 

This venue has wheelchair access and facilities
