Bannockburn Hub

The Bannockburn Active Travel Hub launched in 2022, making it the first school in Stirling to participate in the project. Its inaugural year focused on led rides as part of the school’s health and wellbeing program. Since then, the hub has successfully expanded to offer a diverse range of Active Travel activities.

Pupils have shown exceptional enthusiasm for skateboarding sessions and led walks, which have provided valuable opportunities for social, physical, and mental development. The positive impact on the local community and the environment has been significant, with an increasing number of pupils cycling to and from school each day.
