Riverwoods Film Screening, Walk and Talk – Crianlarich Village Hall

Riverwoods is a spectacular and compelling story of Scotland’s Atlantic salmon – a fish that is the angler’s ultimate prize and a key building block in a complex forest ecosystem. The feature-length documentary filmed and produced by SCOTLAND: The Big Picture, shows how Scotland’s rivers have been greatly diminished but crucially, how they could be reborn through a shared vision of restoration and recovery.

Wild Strathfillan is delighted for you to join us for an engaging event that begins with a screening of Riverwoods, the inspiring film from SCOTLAND: The Big Picture. This will be followed by a short presentation from National Park Ranger, Gareth, on Wild Strathfillan’s riverbank restoration work and its impact on the local environment. Those who wish are then invited to then head outdoors for a guided walk to the river, where you’ll have the opportunity to see and learn about some of its key features first hand.

Please note: the optional walk part of this event will be along uneven, sometimes muddy, river paths. This part of the event may not be accessible for wheelchair users or those with reduced mobility.
