Mindfulness in Nature Taster Session – Wild Pines

August 23 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
£10

Join Wild Pines for a taster session of mindfulness in nature as part of the Forth Valley Biodiversity Festival. Rooted in the practice of Shinrin Yoku or forest bathing — bathing here in the atmosphere of the woodland, not water — this session uses simple sensory invitations to help you slow down and connect with the biodiversity around you using your senses.

This session is catered towards adults or young adults who do not need supervision and are comfortable spending time in silence.

We will meet in the car park opposite the golf pavilion on the University of Stirling campus (what3words ///paddock.advantage.yell).

Advance booking is required.

Cost: £10 per person.

Accessibility Information: Sadly, the woodland area is not really suitable for wheelchairs or mobility concerns due to roots and uneven ground. Access to public transport.

Join us this August for the first Forth Valley Biodiversity Festival, a month-long programme celebrating the biodiversity close to our homes. Come along or host an event! More information on the FEL website. Artwork created by Orla Stevens: www.orlastevens.com
