SUMMARY:Exhibition - Ted Leeming: Our Place in Time at Macrobert Arts Centre
DESCRIPTION:Macrobert Arts Centre are hosting exhibitions and film screenings to compliment the theme of Biodiversity and ongoing climate change film series. This exhibition is part of Stirling Photography Festival \nTed’s practice engages with climate change\, biodiversity\, place and the cultural narratives driving our twin existential emergencies — with the role of arts and photography in responding to them. Based in Galloway\, Ted is drawn to immersive\, low-impact projects and place-based explorations of environmental and social relevance\, delivered through research\, engagement\, and collaborative\, audience specific outcomes. Through his work he aims to start conversations\, shift behaviors\, and influence policy. Photography — traditional\, abstract\, and alternative — sits at the core of his practice\, increasingly augmented by multi-sensory approaches\, AV\, mapping\, illustration\, and accompanying words. \nExhibitions are not ticketed and are usually available to view during venue opening hours \nOpening Hours \nMon – Fri – 10am – 10pm\nSat & Sun – 11am – 10pm \nPlease note that on occasion these times can change. Please check our website and socials on the day for any updates. \nVisitors are advised to check our Visit the Venue page for information about parking and blue badge spaces. You can also check out map of campus to get your bearings. Please note that parking is free for the first 2 hours. Charges apply thereafter. Exemptions apply for those who have blue badges but their car must be registered with the University parking office. Click here for more information. \nmacrobertartscentre.org/shows/817427ABHRCDBGVTSLJGVVRMGQJRRVQBD
